Hello, I’m
Bailee
Rainwater
Your favorite American girl in Paris
You’re gonna be ok, kid.
The short version
An American building a life in Paris.

I’m an American living in Paris. I care deeply about mindset and direction, I make content for brands I actually use and I help people who feel stuck get honest about what they want and how to get it. A few years ago, I left New York and moved to France with a suitcase, my little dog Sushi and a heart full of joy. I was transforming my life in a way I couldn’t have imagined for myself as a child.

Since then, I’ve built a life here from the ground up. I earned my MBA in Paris, navigated the very real chaos of moving abroad, built businesses, taught Pilates on both sides of the Atlantic and started sharing more of the process online.

A lot of what I talk about comes back to the same idea: you’re allowed to be intentional about the life you’re building. Not just your career. Where you live. How you spend your days. The people you surround yourself with. The way you move your body. What you create. What you say yes to. What you decide you’ve outgrown.

I’m obsessed with the gap between wanting a different life and actually creating one.
That curiosity eventually led me to create Bellamy, which combines mind-body wellness with my work around self-awareness, intentional living and becoming someone you genuinely respect. It also shapes the things I share online, from moving abroad and building a life in France to entrepreneurship, mindset, movement, beauty and the tiny choices that make a life feel like your own.
How I got here
01
Nashville
For many years I worked in the Nashville music industry and as a small-business owner, but I started itching for a bigger life with more adventure and travel.
02
The travel bug
After the pandemic, I was living between Nashville and Austin and doing a lot of solo travel all over the United States, while completing my comprehensive Pilates instructor certification with Balanced Body.
03
New York City
After moving to France for a three-month summer, I returned to my family's farm before moving to New York City, my favorite city in the entire world.
04
Paris
In 2023, I moved to Paris on a student visa to get my International MBA at the classic French university, the Sorbonne. I wrote my thesis on how inaccurate historical narratives impact modern-day venture capital funding outcomes.
05
Social media & content
Through casually sharing my journey, I grew my community to nearly 100k total followers and multi-millions of views, likes and shares.
06
The Bellamy chapter
In 2025, I began creating Bellamy, combining my work in Pilates and mind-body movement with my work on mindset, personal growth and pursuing a big, beautiful life. The Bellamy App and Self-Portrait Assessment launched in 2026.
07
Sharing my experience
Today, I use my expertise in content creation, brand building, entrepreneurship and intentional mindset work to help other founders, brands and people.
What I believe
(the whole philosophy, briefly)
Building a good life is up to you
You don't control what happens, but you have more agency than most people act like they do. Where you live, who you spend time with, what you tolerate, what you stop pursuing. Those choices accumulate.
Self-awareness only counts if it changes how you live
Knowing yourself isn't the finish line. The point of seeing your patterns, desires and contradictions clearly is to make better choices with them.
Pay attention to your own life
What you envy, what keeps calling you, where you feel alive, what repeatedly disappoints you, what you keep trying to convince yourself you should want. Clues, not noise.
Reinvention without shame
Something can be right for an earlier version of you and wrong for this one. Move countries, change careers, abandon the plan. Changing direction doesn't mean you were wrong before.
A life should feel good to live
Not just look impressive on paper. Beauty, movement, travel, friendship, good clothes, a lovely home, a long walk, something to look forward to. None of it is an extra you earn once the real work is done. They are the life.
Begin before you're certain
Most clarity comes from movement. Make the choice, collect the evidence, learn something about yourself, adjust.
What that looks like today
My work sits at the intersection of intentional living, entrepreneurship, movement, creativity and life abroad.
I don’t have everything figured out. But I’ve become very interested in figuring out what matters, paying attention to what life is teaching me and being brave enough to change direction when the answer changes.
Collect what you know.
Live what you learn.
That’s pretty much what I’m doing here.
Sometimes that looks like building Bellamy.
Sometimes it looks like helping someone figure out how to move to France.
Sometimes it's creating something with a brand I genuinely love.
Sometimes it's talking about the psychology behind why we keep repeating the same patterns.
And sometimes it's simply sharing what life looks like from my little corner of Paris.
